The equipment must be perfect down to the smallest detail on extreme, high-alpine expeditions. BLACKYAK has developed the Watusi Expedition Down Suit for precisely such situations. The suit must be more than just a piece of clothing for mountaineers. It must adapt to every situation in the mountains. To ensure this, BLACKYAK has integrated SNAP fasteners into the suit.
If the suit is halfway off and the sleeves are flapping around you, this is just uncomfortable, it can also be perilous. To prevent this, BLACKYAK has integrated SNAP fasteners into the sleeves and the inner vest. It makes it easy to attach the sleeves to the inner vest and do your work without problems.
Innovative SNAP fasteners for maximum versatility
Versatile SNAP fasteners offer maximum flexibility for diverse applications, including bags, clothing, and other modular systems. BLACKYAK has chosen the smallest version of SNAP fasteners for their product. The sewable SNAP female S is stitched into the inner vest, while the sewable SNAP male S is stitched onto the sleeves. Align the sleeves with the sewn fastener on the inner vest, and the magnets automatically snap together. To unfasten the fastener, pull the sleeves up, and the fastener halves will separate again.
