Flexible tool storage for the working day
For anyone who needs to keep different tools and accessories close at hand throughout the working day, flexibility is key. The Q-Lock belt clip from Snickers Workwear allows different tool pockets and pouches to be attached directly to the belt and quickly exchanged as needed. The clip simply slides onto a belt up to 4 cm wide and can be repositioned along the belt without having to remove it. This makes it easy to adapt your personal setup to different working situations, for example when switching between standing, kneeling or working on a ladder.

FIDLOCK SNAP fasteners as part of the Q-Lock system
Snickers Workwear uses FIDLOCK SNAP fasteners for the magnetic attachment. The principle is intuitive: when the bag is brought close to the clip, the magnetic force pulls the two components into position before the mechanical fastening mechanism securely locks them together. The bag can then be released just as easily when needed. This allows different Q-Lock bags and accessories to be attached to and exchanged from the belt with one hand. SNAP fasteners can also be customised to suit the requirements of an application and seamlessly integrated into the product design.
A customised housing for a specific application
What makes this application particularly interesting is the individual design of the FIDLOCK fastener. For the Q-Lock belt clip, the housing of the SNAP fastener was specifically adapted to the product and its requirements. This allowed the fastener to be functionally integrated into the belt clip while also matching the overall product design. This is one of the possibilities FIDLOCK offers for customised applications: existing SNAP components can be adapted with a customised housing to suit the requirements of a specific product. The result is a solution that combines the proven functionality of a FIDLOCK fastener with the individual requirements of the application.
