A new era of innovation

We proudly announce that the brands Duraflex and FIDLOCK have decided to collaborate in an alliance to bring more innovation to the trims & accessories industry. The basis of the collaboration is the acquisition of the majority stake in FIDLOCK GmbH by DF Investment Ltd., a sister company of Duraflex Hong Kong Limited.

"The FIDLOCK brand is known as an innovation leader in the magnetic fastener market. We were the first to completely rethink schoolbag, stroller, and helmet fasteners made of plastic which not just close mechanically but also magnetically. Since 2007, we have built up a patent portfolio with over 1,200 property rights (patents, utility models, design rights) that protects several hundred different catalog products or customized products worldwide. Our products and technologies are so diverse that at first glance it is not apparent how many products already use FIDLOCK technology today.

Since 2017, we have established a strong foothold in the consumer products market. Our best-known products are our TWIST system—the cage-free bicycle bottle with magnetic holder, which is now also used on strollers and hip bags—and our VACUUM system—the magnetic cell phone and tablet holder.

In partnership with Duraflex, we have access to a first-class global manufacturing network and can realize synergies in the global distribution network."
